Missing Easton Teacher Found Safe

Dana-Morgan Buck had been reported missing Tuesday in Carbon County.

A missing Easton area teacher has been found, police said Wednesday morning.

Dana Morgan-Buck, a special education teacher who had been missing since Monday evening when she walked away from her parents' home in Palmerton, was found at 10:53 Tuesday night in Palmerton, borough police Chief Randolph Smith said.

Morgan-Buck did not show up for work Tuesday and her cell phone was dead, her boyfriend, Jeff George, told Patch Tuesday night.

He said she had been reported missing to Palmerton police, who entered her name in the National Criminal Investigation Center.

The borough police chief told the Express-Times Morgan-Buck had been taken to the hospital, but declined to say much about "personal issues" that led to her condition.

Information about the search for the Morgan-Buck, as well as her photo, has been posted and shared on Facebook. She does not have a vehicle or personal belongings, the post said.
