Masked Gunmen Rob Lancer Hotel in Wilson

Wilson police looking for two armed robbers who stole money and jewelry from bar.

Wilson police are looking for a pair of masked men who robbed a borough bar at gunpoint Friday night.

Police say the robbery happened around 10:54 p.m. at the Lancer Hotel at 16th and Washington streets.

According to police, two men came into the bar and ordered five patrons and the bartender to get on the floor. They then stole an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry from the bar and its patrons. 

They ran from the bar and were spotted heading north on 16th Street. No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

One robber was a black man, heavy set, about 6 feet tall. The other was also a black man, thin, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Both men wore masks.
