Man Will Plead to Easton, Wilson Burglaries

A man charged in a series of burglaries in Easton and Wilson will plead guilty, his attorney said.

An Easton man accused of committing a series of burglaries in the city and in Wilson will plead guilty, his attorney said Tuesday.

Alexander Brito, 43, plans to enter a guilty plea to felony charges of burglary and criminal trespass, his lawyer told the Express-Times.

Brito was charged most that happened in Easton earlier this summer.

About 3 a.m. June 13, the resident at the second-floor apartment at 1127 Butler St. awoke to find a stranger trying to take her TV. He took off when she confronted him, police said.  

An investigation determined that the alleged burglar was Brito, according to police. He is also accused of breaking into four homes in Wilson.

Brito was being held in on $300,000 bail.
