Man Stabbed Several Times, Police Say

Victim tells police he was a random target in stabbing at Elder and Pine streets.

Easton police say a man was stabbed several times in the city Monday night.

According to police, the man told investigators it was a random attack, with three black men stabbing him near Elder and Pine Streets around 9:30 p.m.

The man told police the men were all between five feet, 10 inches and six feet tall.

Police were not immediately available for further comment Tuesday morning. But Lt. Matthew Gerould told the Express-Times there were inconsistencies in the man's story, with him changing the location of the attack.
