Man Stabbed Multiple Times in West Ward

Easton police say victim offering 'limited' cooperation after attack at 12th and Ferry streets Thursday morning.

Easton police are investigating a stabbing that happened Thursday morning in the city's West Ward.

According to police, officers responded to a call for a welfare check at 12th and Ferry and found a 39-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The man was taken to a local hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries. He has offered "limited cooperation," police said.

Police say the attacker is a white male who ran north on Cherry Street after the stabbing. Anyone with information can call Det. Darren Snyder at 610-250-6637, or the tip line at 610-250-6635.

This is the second stabbing in the city in the past month. In August, a man was stabbed at Elder and Pine streets by what the told police was a group of men.
