Man Shot Multiple Times on Easton's South Side

Easton police searching for a group of men who left a 33-year-old man hospitalized in Wednesday shooting.

Easton police are looking for a group of men they say shot and wounded another man Wednesday evening on the city's South Side.

According to police, officers responded to the 700 block of Mauch Chunk Street around 5:22 p.m. after getting reports of a man with a gunshot wound.

Police say they found a 33-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was hospitalized and is expected to survive. Police are not releasing his name.

According to police, three to four men were involved in the attack. They were all black men, wearing black clothing. At least two had hooded sweatshirts. They may have been driving a Dodge Charger, spotted heading east on Canal or Mauch Chunk streets.
