Man Mugged on Easton's South Side

Easton police say three men assaulted and robbed another man Thursday evening.

Easton police say three men assaulted and robbed another man on the city's South Side Thursday evening.

According to police, officers responded to a robbery in progress in the 100 block of W. St. Joseph Street at 6:12 p.m.

Police say the victim, 26, told investigators he was approached by three men. One demanded his wallet, then the others punched him in the face. 

The man told police the robber who demanded his wallet had a gun. After taking the wallet, the men ran south toward W. Nesquehoning Street.

Police gave this description for the robbers:

  • A black male, approx. 30, 5-feet-10, 250 pounds, with short hair and wearing a dark sweat shirt.
  • A light-skinned black male, in his late 20s, 6-feet-1, 180 pounds, with short hair and wearing a long sleeved red shirt
  • A dark-skinned black male, short hair and wearing a black hood.
