Man Headed to Court on Drug Charges

Police say they found cocaine and marijuana in Radames Cartagena's home.

An Easton man is headed to trial on felony drug trafficking charges.

Radames Cartagena waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Daniel Corpora, meaning his case moves automatically to Northampton County Court.

Cartagena, 22, of the 400 block of Canal Park, was arrested in February after police served a search warrant and found cocaine and marijuana, as well as packaging materials. Court papers say Cartagena is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
