Man Gets 8-20 Years for Stabbing Taxi Driver

An Easton man could spend the next two decades in prison for stabbing a city cab driver multiple times during a robbery.

Bony Santana, 22, pleaded guilty last month in county court to aggravated assault and robbery for the attack on Angelo Conroy in September of 2010 on Easton's South Side.

According to the Express-Times, Santana was sentenced Monday to spend eight to 20 years in state prison.

Santana asked Conroy to drive him to East Klienhans Street, and stabbed the driver when he went into this wallet to make change. He was arrested soon after when police found his wallet in the cab.
