Man Approached Teenage Girl, Police Say

Easton police are looking for a man who may have tried to lure a teenage girl in the West Ward Monday afternoon.

According to police, the girl, 15, was walking in the 1100 block of Spruce Street around 12:40 p.m. when the man approached her and asked if she wanted to smoke with him.

Police note that the man did not ask the girl to get into his vehicle, but that they are investigating all the same.

The man was black, with a "scruffy" beard, wearing a black hat and a black zip-up sweater. He was driving an older green minivan in poor condition. He was last seen driving west near Spruce and Raspberry streets.
