Man Approached 11-Year-Old Girl, Police Say

Easton police are looking for a man who acted in 'suspicious manner' in West Ward.

Easton police said they are investigating a "suspicious situation" in which a man approached an 11-year-old girl in the West Ward.

Police said the incident happened Tuesday afternoon at about 4 in the 300 block of N. 9th Street.

The girl was in a back yard when the man approached her, asking her "What are you doing?" and telling her "Come over here."

Police say the man was spotted in another neighbor's yard as well. He was black, about 6 feet tall, with short dreadlocks and wearing a red shirt.

Although this happened Tuesday, it wasn't reported until Wednesday, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 610-250-6639.
