Four People Charged in Easton Drug Raids

Police raid buildings in West Ward, South Side, in search for drugs.

raided homes in the West Ward and South Side sections of the city Wednesday morning, charging four people with drug offenses.

The police vice narcotics unit and special response team served search warrants at 400 Center Street, taking four people into custody:

  • Brandon Crum, 26
  • Daniel Smith, 24
  • Shasson Marshall, 19
  • A 17-year-old boy, not identified due to his age.

Lt. Matthew Gerould said Smith and Crum are charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marshall and the 17-year-old are facing drug paraphernalia charges.

Police also seized a car during this raid, and said the investigation is on-going.

In the West Ward raid, police, working with the Pennsylvania State Police, searched 1135 Jackson St., finding $30,000 worth of marijuana and $1,000 worth of cocaine.

No one was taken into custody, but police issued a warrant for Charles Holmes, Jr., who is facing felony drug charges. 

According to court records, Holmes, 35, sold cocaine to a police source earlier this month.
