Easton Woman Steals Jewelry in Breinigsville, Police Say

Laura Ginnovan headed to county court on theft charges.

A 25-year-old Easton woman was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property after she sold four pieces of jewelry stolen from an Breinigsvile home to an Easton business, according to Upper Macungie Police.

Police said Laura Ginnovan allegedly sold two pieces of jewelry on two separate occasions to the Two Rivers Trading Post at 50 Centre Square in October 2012. The business reported to Easton Police that the jewelry was stolen. Upper Macungie Police reported a jewelry theft from a Tudor Drive home in Breinigsville in mid-October.

An investigation by Easton Police led to the charges against Ginnovan.

Ginnovan was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, a third-degree felony, and waived her preliminary hearing in front of District Judge Elizabeth A. Romig-Grainer Thursday.

She was released on $2,500 unsecured bail, police said.
