Easton Police Seek Suspect in Delivery Robberies

Police say a South Side man robbed two delivery drivers in Easton in the last two months.

are looking for a man they say robbed two delivery drivers in the last two months.

According to police, Samad I. McKoy is the man who Sunday on the 600 block of Walnut Street. 

Police say there was an outstanding warrant for McKoy in an earlier robbery, that of a man delivering Chinese take-out on the 500 block of Ferry Street in November.

McKoy, 27, last lived in the 600 block of Berwick Street in Easton's South Side, but also has ties to Newark, police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at (610)759-2200.

The Express-Times notes that McKoy apparently calls the police every now and then to see if there are any warrants for his arrest. The police tell him to turn himself in, and he protests his innocence.
