Robber Flees on Bicycle, Police Say

Police are looking for a man who held up a store on the South Side, then escaped on a bike.

Police in Easton are looking for a man they say held up a South Side convenience store Tuesday night and then got away on a bicycle.

The robbery happened around 9:40, said Inspector Daniel Reagan, with a man walking into the King Mart on W. St. Joseph Street and threatening a worker with a black handgun.

Reagan said the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and some Newport cigarettes, and then drove away from the store on a bike.
