Easton Police Investigating Two Robberies

Men armed with a shotgun and a knife stole cellphones from city residents over the weekend in two separate cases, Easton police said.

Easton police said they are investigating two robberies that occurred over the weekend:

  • Two men, one armed with a knife, stole cellphones from a 20-year-old city resident who was walking in the 100 block of E. Cooper Street about 11:32 p.m. Friday.  
  • Two men, one armed with a shotgun, stole a cellphone from a 42-year-old city resident in the 400 block of Davis Street about 12:27 a.m. Sunday.

Police described the suspects as follows in the Friday night robbery:

  • One had a thin built and stood about 5-foot-6. The other, who had the knife, was medium built, about 5-foot-10 wearing dark clothes and a black bandana over his face. Both were black males.
Police described the suspects as follows in the early Sunday morning robbery:

  • One suspect, who had a shotgun, was possibly in his teens or early 20s, stood 6-feet-tall and was wearing a denim-style jacket. The other suspect was about 5-foot-8 and wore all demin. Both were black males.
