Easton Police Seek Armed Man Who Robbed Woman

Police are looking for a gunman who held up a woman in Easton Monday morning.

are looking for a man who held up a woman who was walking with her daughter in the West Ward Monday morning, according to published reports.

An officer was on patrol around 6:05 a.m. Monday when he was alerted that a woman had just been robbed while walking in the 1000 block of Washington Street, the Express-Times reports.

The 28-year-old Easton woman was with her 4-year-old daughter when a man with a handgun took her purse from her and ran off.

According to the Morning Call, the robber is a tall, thin white man who wore black jeans at the time of the robbery but had no shirt. Police say the man may have been using his shirt as a mask during the robbery.
