Easton Man Headed to Trial For Child Rape

Jose Lebron, accused of sexually abusing three boys in Easton in 2006, is headed to court.

When Jose Lebron was led into court Tuesday afternoon, one of the witnesses against him began to weep.

Prosecutors allege that in June of 2006, in Easton's West Ward. They were 11, 8 and 9 years old at the time.

It was the oldest of those boys who broke down upon seeing Lebron in District courtroom Tuesday. He soon composed himself, however, and offered testimony that led the judge to send Lebron to trial on numerous child sex charges.

The oldest boy -- the only one of the three to testify Tuesday -- said Lebron would screen pornographic movies for the boys. Sometimes the movies featured adults. Once or twice, they showed adults with children.

"He would tell me to do exactly what we saw on TV," the boy, now 17, testified.

He said Lebron would also have him in bed while Lebron and Frable had sex.

Frable is already in , awaiting trial on similar charges.

The abuse would happen "once or twice a week," the boy said, testifying that Lebron threatened him to keep him silent.

"He said if I ever told anyone, he would get somebody after my mother," the boy said.

The initial charges had the abuse taking place in 2007, but those were amended in court Tuesday. Elwell also dismissed one of the charges against Lebron -- aggravated indecent sexual assault -- saying that the evidence didn't support the charge.
