Easton Man Charged in King Mart Burglary

Police catch man trying to break into South Side convenience store.

Easton police say a South Side man was caught trying to break into a neighborhood convenience store early Saturday.

Deon Robinson, 21, of 167 W. Nesquehoning St., is charged with criminal mischief, attempted burglary and public drunkenness. 

According to police, officers responded to a report of a man trying to break into the King Mart at 154 W. St. Joseph St.

When officers arrived, they found Robinson had smashed the window of the store. He was arrested, arraigned and sent to Northampton County Prison.
