Easton Man Charged in Home Invasion

Malcolm Pendleton, already in prison for Wilson robbery, faces new charges.

An Easton man already serving time for an armed robbery in Wilson is facing new charges related to a home invasion and shooting in the city earlier this year.

Easton police say Malcolm Pendleton, AKA "Moose," broke into a home on the 1300 block of Washington Street in March and fired a shot at a man inside.

According to court records, Pendleton, 23, was linked to the crime after being arrested for an armed robbery in Wilson. Police say the state police crime lab was able to match a bullet fired during the Easton shooting to the gun Pendleton had with him when he was arrested.
