Easton Homicide Trial Will Go On, Judge Says

Defense lawyer says prosecutors haven't shown Naheem Adams was at the scene of Easton killing.

The trial of accused killer Naheem Adams will continue Thursday in Northampton County Court, a judge said Wednesday.

This ruling came after Adams' attorney argued—unsuccessfully—that prosecutors had failed to show his client was at the scene of George Jeter's death last summer, the Express-Times reported.

Jeter, 28, of S. 14th Street, was shot to death on the 1400 block of Butler Street.

Early on, witnesses put Adams, 21, at the scene. But in court this week, witnesses offered conflicting testimony about seeing Adams.
