Easton Car Crash Leads to Fugitive Arrest
Easton man in West Ward accident was wanted for assault, police say.
A West Ward man was jailed Tuesday after an investigation into a car crash revealed he was wanted for assault in New Jersey.
According to court records, Christopher Burd, 31, of 1214 Elm St., was involved in an accident on the first block of South 7th Street around 5:48 p.m. Tuesday.
When ran Burd's name, they learned he was wanted in Warren County for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Burd was arraigned before , and was being held in without bail.
