Drug Raids Find Heroin and Crack, Police Say

Two men facing drug charges following police raids Friday morning in Easton.

Two Easton men are facing drug charges following a pair of raids in the city Friday morning.

According to police, officers from the city's vice narcotics and special response units, along with the state police special emergency response team, raided homes at 667 Northampton St., Apt. 3, and 217 Orchard St. around 6 a.m.

At the Northampton Street address, police found heroin and arrested a man named Thomas Pollard, who was wanted for delivery of heroin. He will face an additional possession of heroin charge, police said.

A search warrant at the Orchard Street address turned up crack cocaine and police arrested a second man, Troy Myers, for possession of cocaine.

Police say the raids were part of an investigation into "street level" drug dealing in the city.
