Driver Crashes into Easton McDonald's, Police Say

One customer hurt when pick-up truck hits downtown Easton McDonald's.

Easton police say a man could face charges after driving a pick-up truck into the downtown McDonald's Wednesday morning and injuring a customer.

Police say the accident happened around 6:09 a.m. when driver John Irving Jones, 35, hit the fast food joint on S. Third Street with a U-Haul pick-up.

A 57-year-old patron inside was hurt in the crash, and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation after complaining of leg and wrist pain.

Jones may face charges pending the results of a blood test, police say
