Counterfeit Cash Found at Dunkin' Donuts, Police Say
Easton doughnut shop worker charged with forgery after photocopied money shows up in register.
An employee of the Dunkin' Donuts on Philadelphia Road is accused of placing counterfeit money in the store’s cash register, according to Easton police.
Margaret Grace Shick, 31, of 228 N. 14th St., Easton, admitted to police that she made the counterfeit bills and put them in the cash drawer, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Easton police Officer George Lockett wrote that he responded to the Dunkin Donuts on March 20 after the manager called and alleged that one of her employees had placed the phony bills in the cash drawer.

“I did examine the money, which was clearly a poor quality photocopy of U.S. Currency,” Lockett wrote.
