Coroner Rules Man's Death a Homicide

Northampton County Coroner Zach Lysek has ruled the death of a man found in his home a homicide.

George Humbert, 54, was discovered on South Sixth Street just before 9 a.m. on Saturday. At the time, police said his death seemed suspicious.

On Sunday, following an autopsy, Lysek said Humbert's death was a homicide. He said he was not releasing Humbert's cause of death to protect the "integrity of the investigation." He said would release that information later this week. This is Easton's first homicide of 2011.
