Clerk Assaulted, Shot Fired in South Side Robbery

Easton police say two men held up Ram Grocery on Berwick Street, attacked clerk, fired shot.

Easton police say two men robbed a South Side grocery store Tuesday evening, attacking the clerk and firing a gunshot.

According to the Express Times, the robbery happened at 7:10 p.m. at Ram Grocery at 393 W. Berwick St. 

Police say two men took part in the robbery; one of them had a gun and fired a shot. The men assaulted the clerk, who was hospitalized, police said.

The men were both described as thin, one about 5'8'', the other 5'10''. Anyone with information should call Det. Joseph Alonzo at 610-250-6780.
