According to an arrest affidavit, the car keys had been stolen during a burglary and the car had been stolen at the same time.

Easton Patrolman Christopher Webb wrote in the affidavit that he spotted the car on the 1200 block of Lehigh Street at about 3 a.m. After using the license plate to confirm that the car had been stolen, he “initiated a felony vehicle stop” at Fourth and Northampton streets, where Czyzyk and Keith were taken into custody.

Czyzyk had a glass crack pipe, Webb wrote. Keith had a glassine baggy, which Webb alleged was used to store marijuana.

Both women were charged with felony receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were committed to Northampton County Prison following arraignments before on-duty District Judge Nancy Matos Gonzalez of Bethlehem.

Czyzyk’s bail was set at $50,000 and Keith’s bail was set at $20,000.
