Burglar Admits to 'Repulsive' Easton Area Crime Spree

James Baker will spend 4-8 years in prison for a series of burglaries in Easton, Wilson and Palmer Township.

A Phillipsburg man could spend up to eight years in prison for a series of Easton area burglaries, according to published reports.

James Baker was charged in February with committing several burglaries in Easton, Wilson and Palmer Township. Court records show Baker pleaded guilty to theft and burglary.

In court on Friday, Baker apologized to his victims, calling the break-ins "absolutely repulsive," the Morning Call reported.

According to the Express-Times, Baker will spent 4-8 years in prison and must pay more than $37,000 in restitution.
