Broken Tail Lights Lead to Robbery Arrest, Police Say

Easton resident Anthony Slack jailed on New Jersey robbery charges after traffic stop.

Easton police say a traffic stop in the West Ward Tuesday morning led to a city man's arrest on robbery charges.

According to court records, Anthony Stack, 27, of the 400 block of Northampton Street, was stopped at 8th and Ferry streets around 1:19 a.m. because his taillights were broken.

When the officer ran Stack's name, Northampton County dispatchers found a New Jersey arrest warrant.
