Lois Joyce Lovell, 90, Traveled America

Lois Joyce Lovell, 90, died Monday.

Lois Joyce Lovell, 90, formerly of Palmer Township, died Monday, January 13, 2014.

Born July 27, 1923 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Ervin R. and Elsie M. (Unangst) Worley.

She and her husband, Robert J. Lovell were married 68 years.  Together they travelled extensively in the lower 48 states, Canada, and Alaska and enjoyed their cabin on Sand Lake in Ontario. Lois was a graduate of Easton High School.

She was a member of College Hill Presbyterian Church, Easton.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; four daughters, Karen Brown and her husband, Dennis of Palmer Township, Janice Drake and her husband, Gregory of Stockertown, Sandra Goldsmith and her husband, Timothy of Palmer Township, and Lynn Johnson and her husband, Donald of Nazareth; a sister, Marion Lattig of Phillipsburg; eight grandchildren, Stacey Andreas, Mitchell Brown, Andrew, Matthew, and Peter Goldsmith, Brian Kunsman, and Bradley and Jaclyn Johnson; and five great grandchildren.  Her brother, Robert E. Worley and her sister, Olive Unangst died earlier.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 17 in College Hill Presbyterian Church, 501 Brodhead St., Easton.  Call from 11:00 am until service time on Friday in the church.  The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.  Offer online condolences at www.AshtonFuneralHome.com.
