Award-winning Boston contemporary folk singer/songwriter TERRY KITCHEN and folk/pop group BECKY & THE HITMEN will be performing at the Paradise Cafe, 565 High Street, Dedham on Saturday February 16. The concert begins at 8:00 PM and admission is free. Call 781-326-5674 or visit www.facebook.com/paradisecafededham for more information. KITCHEN and Rebecca Lynch (singer of The Hitmen) both attended Occidental College in Los Angeles and sang together in campus bands, and Brice Buchanan (The Hitmen's guitarist) was a member of Kitchen's '80s Boston band Loose Ties. KITCHEN will join BECKY & THE HITMEN for a set at the end of the evening.


 


Called "one of New England's best songwriters" by The Boston Globe, TERRY KITCHEN's songs are portraits of ordinary people and emotions, captured with extraordinary compassion, honesty and humor. His latest CD, Terry Kitchen & Mara Levine, is a duo recording with New Jersey folksinger Mara Levine. Kitchen's songs have won the USA Songwriting Competition and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest and been runner up in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
