Grandmother's Terror: 'Help Me Before They Come Back'

Carrie Smith's voice, recorded two months before her death, was filled with terror. "Please help me before they come back,"  the Wilson grandmother told the 911 operator in a tape played Wednesday at a preliminary hearing for one of the accused robbers. Her 911 recording was one of the pieces of evidence that led a judge to rule that Rogel Suero—a man accused of giving Smith an ultimately fatal heart attack last year—should stand trial for her death.

Deadly I-78 Crash: 'I Just Want to Put It Behind Me'

A Delaware County man will spend the next five years on probation for causing a deadly truck crash on Interstate 78 in Williams Township last year. A judge said there's no evidence Alexandro Morales, 23, acted with gross neglience during the accident that killed 58-year-old Rocco Antonelli of Philadelphia.

An Easton couple could spend the next decade in state prison for robbing a local pharmacy to feed their drug habit, according to published reports. Gregory and Lindsey Darymple received prison sentences that could keep them locked up for 12 years this week for robbing the Lower Nazareth Wal-Mart last year.

Two Easton residents are among 11 women arrested in a prostitution sting at an Allentown strip club, according to a press release issued Thursday by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
