What To Look Out For This Week in Easton

With a new week here, it's time to take a look at some of the things to look out for over the next few days.

1. Actress/writer/comedian Najla Said brings her off-Broadway show Palestine to Lafayette College Monday at 7 p.m. at the school's Williams Center.

"The play is Said’s personal journey from New York City's tony Upper West Side, where she grew up and became anorexic at 15, through the 'the stench of Gaza,' two wars, the horrors of 9/11, encounters with world figures including Yasser Arafat, and life with her beloved father," the college said in a news release.

The show is free, and admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Easton's Zoning Hearing Board meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Cty Hall.

3. The Easton Block Watch will hold its quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at College Hill Presbyterian Church.

4. The Nurture Nature Center will show Trouble the Water, an Oscar-nominated documentary about Hurricane Katrina, Thursday at 6 p.m.

5. The Easton Area High School PTSA and Easton Area Middle School PTA both have meetings scheduled for Thursday: the middle school from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the high school from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
