We're Still Seeking Stories For Our "Dispatches" Series

How’s the American dream treating you these days?

Local and national media is full of stories about how American families, businesses and neighbors are to these trying times. For example, during the holidays, who could not afford to pay off the Christmas gifts they put on layaway after Thanksgiving. Then, in a nick of time, anonymous benefactors – layaway angels – swooped in and paid off the balances for these families.

What’s your story? Easton Patch wants to tell stories about the changing American Dream and how people are coping with that.

• Do you know a professional who lost his/her job and had to take work in a new field?
• Who do know is working in a warehouse or restaurant “just until they find something better”?
