School Budget, Icons and Israeli Film This Week in Easton

A look at the week ahead in Easton.

A new week is here, so let's take a look at some of the things that are happening in the next few days.

1. The Easton Area School Board meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. On the agenda: a vote on the 2013-2014 budget. Board members will choose one of three tax plans, all of which involve cutting jobs.

2. First United Church of Christ holds its annual Community Conneciton Wednesday, a chance for people to get help with housing, food, employment and other issues. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 27 N. 3rd St.

3. Easton's planning department will hold a discussion about its comprehensive plan with West Ward residents Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army building at 1101 Northampton St.

4. The Easton Area Public Library will screen the Israeli movie Off-White Lies Monday at 7 p.m.
