Flood Watch in Effect Until Saturday

National Weather Service says 1 to 3 inches of rain possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for the Lehigh Valley from Friday morning until Saturday afternoon.

Rain and thunderstorms will bring one to three inches of rain to the region Friday, the weather service says.

"The ground remains soggy and wet from the heavy rains that occured earlier this month, and there is limited absorption capacity from the Interstate 95 corridor through northern New Jersey and eastern Pennnsylvania," the NWS said.
