Five Things to Look Out for This Week

The NID proposal before city council, the mayor signs the domestic partnership law, and the school district makes a new hire.

Good morning, everyone. Here's what's happening this week.

1. Easton City Council has a domestic partnership benefits ordinance for city workers. The mayor makes it official this afternoon at 12:30, when he signs it into law in a ceremony in Centre Square.

2. The Easton Area School Board will hold a special meeting this evening at 6:30 to appoint a new . This person will replace Business Manager Marie Guidry and Assistant to the Superintendent Joseph Kish, both of whom are retiring.

3. City Council will hold a hearing Wednesday at 6 p.m. to discuss the proposed . The city has moved the meeting from city hall to the Crayola Factory to accommodate what might be a large crowd.

4. Frank Valli & the Four Seasons play the State Theatre Thursday night at 8 p.m.
