Good morning, everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. I took my girlfriend to her first Easton Farmers Market, and we both really enjoyed ourselves.

Sadly, I wasn't able to attend Heritage Day, but I hope everyone checks out Adam Atkinson's amazing photos. Here's five things to know today.

1. Want to serve on the Easton Area School Board, if only for a few months? You have until 3 p.m. today to submit your application for the seat last month. You have to live in the district's Region III, which includes College Hill, the West Ward, parts of Forks Township and parts of Lower Mount Bethel.

2. This Tuesday will see the second of the mayor's public meetings on the proposed . 

3. City council holds its regular meeting Wednesday at 6 p.m.

4.If you follow the state's debate over fracking, you should know that there'll be no movement for gas drilling until the fall.
