Crayola Gives Sneak Peek at Renovations

Ink that puffs up when you heat it. A 40-foot wall of crayon bins. An 85-foot water attraction. These are among the new attractions kids will be able to see and take part in when the Crayola Experience reopens in May.

Despite a "historic" number of homicides last year, Easton was a safer place in 2012, Mayor Sal Panto said Wednesday. Panto addressed the city's record six killings in his annual state of the city address, saying that crime actually dropped in Easton last year.

Dying Dog Left Outside Pet Shop

Bracha was found in a box, malnourished and dying, in front a pet store in a strip mall outside of Easton. A trainer called it "neglect to a whole new level."

Are Easton's Parking Meters Too High?

Easton officials are looking at whether they need to lower the city's parking meters. Not the costs, mind you. (You'll still pay a dollar an hour.) Instead, the city could physically lower some of its new credit card meters after complaints that some of them are too high for some people to reach.

Mayors Rally for Tougher Gun Laws

The group Mayors Against Illegal Guns led a series of 100 rallies around the country Thursday asking people to contact their legislators to get them to support stronger gun laws. One of those rallies happened in Easton's Centre Square, where Mayor Sal Panto told supporters current background check laws are "milquetoast" regulations that overlook things like gun shows
