6 Things to Do in Easton This Weekend

Run for the Boy Scouts, walk for the Peace Candle, and more....

Good morning everyone. Friday has arrived, and that means we look ahead to what's happening this weekend in Easton.

1. Nearly three years ago, retired Easton cop Tim Lambert and his daughter were killed in a car crash. Lambert was a local Cub Scout leader and last year, Easton's Boy Scouts held a memorial 5k/10k run in his honor. That race returns to Easton Saturday morning at Scott Park.

Registration -- it's $15 to participate -- begins at 8 a.m., with a one-mile "fun run" for kids at 9 a.m. That's followed by a 10K walk/run at 9:30 a.m., and the 5K run at 10 a.m.
