5 Things to Look Out For This Week In Easton

Good morning, everyone. It's Monday, March 7. Actress Jenna Fischer turns 36 today, Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad/Malcolm in the Middle Fame is 55, and Alexander Graham Bell's patent for the telephone is 135. Here's what to look out for this week:

1. City council is expected to vote Wednesday night for various community events -- things such as Heritage Day, the Peace Candle lighting, and the Shad Tournament. This vote was expected to happen two weeks ago, but Mayor Sal Panto said council needed more time. 

2. The Easton Area School Board will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for another meeting on the 2011/2012 budget. The board is trying to cut a roughly $10 million deficit out of its spending plan.
