A big week in Easton, with the Thanksgiving Day game and Peace Candle lighting happening Thursday and Friday.
Good morning everyone. Thanksgiving week is always a busy one for Easton. Here's a look at some of the things that are happening.
1. Thursday brings us the 106th Easton-Phillipsburg football game, which begins 10:30 a.m. at Lafayette College's Fisher Field If you can't get to the game, you can always watch online for $4.95.
2. Easton will light the Peace Candle Friday at 8 p.m., although there are numerous events scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. leading up to the lighting.

3. Speaking of the Peace Candle, the auction to become the person to light it Friday night is still under way.
4. The city's zoning hearing board meets tonight at 6:30 at City Hall.

5. Today is Nov. 19. On this day in 1863, Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg address. Also, Jodie Foster, Meg Ryan, Calvin Klein and Ted Turner all have birthdays today.
