Good morning everyone. It's Monday, and that means we're looking ahead to what's happening this week.
1. A lot of places are closed today in honor of Veterans Day. Make sure you consult our list, and also write on our Thank You wall for veterans.
2. Easton City Council meets Tuesday and Wednesday nights this week. Tuesday is a budget meeting, while Wednesday is the regularly scheduled city council meeting. Both will take place at 6 p.m. at city hall.

3. Easton's Police Athletic League is taking applications for its wrestling teams. Applications can be picked up at the police department, 25 S. 3rd St., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
4. The Easton Area School Board will hold its monthly committee meeting tonight at 6. On the agenda: a look at the 2013-2014 budget.
