Good morning, everyone. As we do every Monday, we're setting aside some space to look ahead to what's happening this week.

1. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We've posted a list of places that are closed, and various events around the city.

2. Easton City Council's public safety committee will discuss the safety of the city's schools in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
