City Council tackles the NID (again) and more...

Good morning everyone. Welcome to another week. Here's five things to know today.

1. Easton City Council will take its show on the road this week...sort of. Wednesday night's council meeting will move around the corner to the , where city officials will hold a second public hearing on the Neighborhood Improvement District. Look for to be different .

5. Today is August 8. On this day in 1968, Richard Nixon received the Republican presidential nomination. On the same date, six years later, he'd announce his resignation. It's also the 50th birthday of U2 guitarist The Edge, and the 49th birthday of rapper Kool Moe Dee.
