Holiday Book Sale at the Library

Thanks to our generous donors, we have more books than we can use, so we're having our annual Holiday Book Sale from December 6 through 10.

We’re selling over 20,000 books and other items, and about 90% have been donated. Many books are like new. Lots of Christmas books, history, biography, cookbooks, and art books. As usual, there’s a great selection of all genres of fiction. The children’s books are especially nice and plentiful.

Most hardcover books and trade paperbacks, books on CD, CDs, and DVD’s are $1.00. Paperbacks are $.50. Children’s books are $.50. Books on cassette and videos are $.25. There’s even a small selection of LPs (vinyl) beginning at $1.00.

The Library is located at 515 Church Street. The sale will be held in the Catherine Drake Room. Sale goers should use the 5th Street entrance, lower level.

The city has installed parking meters on 5th St, so there will probably be more spaces available. Just remember to feed the meters.
