Easton Library to Offer Downloadable eBooks

Free eBook downloads available to EAPL cardholders.

Do you own a Nook, Kindle. or other e-Reader? Beginning Tuesday, April 10, eBooks will be available for download from the website.

Library cardholders can check out and download selections anytime by visiting www.eastonpl.org and linking to OverDrive, its digital distributor of eBooks.

Users may browse the Library’s opening collection of 199 titles, check out with a valid library card, and download to PC, Mac, and many mobile devices.

Users will need to install free software and will need Adobe Digital Editions to read eBooks. Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices including iPod, Sony Reader, and others. Titles expire automatically at the end of the lending period – there are never any late fees.

To view available eBook titles, users will have to link to OverDrive. Titles will not appear in the traditional online catalog.
