Coming Events for Children at the Easton Library

Junior Friends, House Party, Introductory Yoga, and more . . .

Join the Junior Friends of the Library

Does your child love ? Ellen Heath (Miss Ellen), former Coordinator of Youth Services, is forming a Junior Friends of the Easton Area Public Library. Like its adult counterpart, the Jr. Friends will plan activities to help the Library while having fun. Some possible activities are making bookmarks to sell at the Book Sales, running a lemonade stand at a Library event, planning and presenting a program for toddlers, or planting flowers around the Library.

The group is open to children ages 6 through 12 and will meet to plan activities on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. A president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer will be elected. Dues of $.25 per year will be collected and used to buy supplies for activities. (There are “scholarships” for children who cannot pay the dues.) Any money earned will go to the Children’s Room for books and other materials.
