Photo of the Day: Rain Fails to Deter Theatre Goers

State Theatre tickets for the upcoming season went on sale to the general public today.

Eager theater-goers dodged the raindrops earlier today, lining Northampton Street, for the first day the box office opened to the public for the 2011-2012 season.

Theatre members were afforded first pick earlier, starting on Aug. 2.

The upcoming season includes a number of sure-to-be-popular musicals, such as Spamalot and Menopause: The Musical, well-known names in music, such as Chuck Berry, Kenny Rogers and Johnnie Mathis, and popular personalities, such as Dana Carvey and Penn & Teller, to name a very few of many of the shows.
